Assured Professional Certificate in Electrical Installation
The Professional Certificate in Electrical Installation Programme at Giga Electrical and Engineering Services Assured by City and Guilds will enable participants to demonstrate competencies in preparing material list and circuit directories, installing wiring systems, overcurrent protective devices, service entrance cable and constructing a variety of single and three phase AC circuits in compliance with the electrical codes and safety standards.
Assured Certificate in Advanced Solar and Air Conditioning
The Assured Certificate in Advanced solar and Air-conditioning Programme at Giga Electrical and Engineering Services Assured by City and Guilds will enable participants to demonstrate competencies in installing, maintaining and diagnosing faults on Solar and Air-Conditioning systems with due consideration to safety requirements.
Wireman License Preparation
This programme will enable participants to comply with the requirements of TTS 171 Pt.1, NEC Code and T&TEC Wiring for light and Power and perform calculations related to single phase power, three phase power.
Skills Proficiency Certificate in Electrical Installation and Plumbing
This programme is designed for persons seeking formal recognition of acquired skills. They will equip learners for entry – level position or facilitate advanced skill training.
Entry Requirements
→ Prerequisite: Post-Secondary Education, 18 years or older
→ Candidates applying for these programmes must meet with moral and ethical standards; this will be determined by an interview of each applicant
→ Candidates are required to provide valid identification at the time of registration
→ Application form will be accompanied by a declaration of commitment to pay the prescribed fees
