History

Giga Electrical and Engineering Services was established in 1998. The name giga is a Greek word meaning large, it was carefully selected by the company’s founder, Rawle Mc Clean
based on his strong technical background and his prediction for the company.

The Company’s focus from inception was on electrical construction. Giga realizing an increase in demand for qualified electricians in Trinidad and Tobago, soon expanded its services to include a training division thereby providing opportunities for electricians to acquire their wireman’s license and enhance their employability skills.

For the past twenty six years our organization earned a reputation for successfully training candidates for industry. In 2012 we became a registered training provider with City & Guilds of London Institute. City & Guilds, a globally recognized awarding body works in partnership with organizations like ours to provide high quality skills that are credible and meet industry best practices.
